The staff at the tour desk were so helpful in arranging activities, like horse riding and wine tours. I also enjoyed kayaking and scuba diving. The property had great safety features and lots of entertainment and dining areas.
Oh, I just loved how my windows overlooked a public thoroughfare and how the blinds were tattered and ineffectual. Such a charming touch.

Good central location
The shower did not have a soap or shampoo shelf so very awkward. Double beds are too small for taller people - queen sized bed should be minimum size.

Price
Really really noisy, situated next to a school, so no sleep ins on holiday. No air conditioning so rather hot and sticky. Walls really thin so could hear other guests constantly

This accommodation option was in an advantageous location, very close to eating places and university buildings. The apartment rooms were spacious, and the beds were quite comfortable. The shower had great pressure. there were desks and hanging spaces in the sleeping quarters, which were genuinely convenient.
There was no milk for morning coffee or tea provided in any form, and the appliances were a bit weird with their powered sockets connecting to the fridge switch. The blinds were see-through, which made it a little non-private.

Convenient
Small room --- small bed VERY noisy --- young people congregating in the corridor and courtyard late at night smoking and much raucous laughter Using washing machine and dryer at 3-00am ---- through to 4--00am!

We got an upgrade from a 2 bedroom appartment to one with three bedrooms, with no extra charge! The appartment was pretty big and luxurious.
- The internetconnection was very slow. - The washing machine was also quite slow, it was a wash/drying combo but the drying didn't work. So we ended up drying our cloths on the radiators.

Great location, easy walk to city, close to Thai and Chippy, kitchen facilities, close to Gardens and Gallery.

A good situation and convenient for city and my needs.
I felt it was over priced for what was provided. I felt I was in glorified student/hostel type accommodation and $95 a night was excessive, The place was quite noisy and didn't seem to have much in the way of sound insulation. A bit short on sleep! Maybe the other 'apartments' were better but I have no way of knowing.

Felt safe walking at night, nothing to complain about.

Value for money
Windows were wide open when we got there late in the evening so was a bit cold inside.

Close to city centre without the noise. Lovely host was very friendly and helpful. Good price. Enough room for our family of 4 with school age child and a baby. Very good for families. Will be staying there again.
There were no curtains only a blind on lounge on ground floor, but we told host and she is going to put a curtain up, so issue sorted. So nothing bad to say

This hotel is very close to the centre of town, making it easy to visit the main shopping area and restaurants.
Noise can be a problem due to its proximity to student accommodation.

Nothing, apart from leaving!
It was filthy even for student accommodation . They obviously should keep the two separate . The kitchen was in a disgusting state where we could not use the oven. We were too scared to use any cutely or crockery without cleaning it first. We had a young family they decided to put us on the 3rd floor so I had to lug up all our luggage. The place stunk of people cooking in the Dorm? We have travelled Nz for 4.5 weeks & this was by far the worst experience by far! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!The bed our 3yr old son was on broke he weighs 12kgs?? We would have paid to move but I had lugged our luggage up & couldn't be bothered moving.I don't normally review but this had to be said!

Room was clean and tidy
Small TV with limited channels. Traffic noise on the stairs from quite early in the morning.
